Areas of Practice

My area of focus is using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to treat severe and complex trauma and disordered eating behaviors in the adult population.  In addition, I treat anxiety, mood and depressive related disorders such as major depressive disorder (MDD), social anxiety disorder and bipolar disorder.

The CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) methods I use to treat complex trauma and disordered eating patterns include prolonged exposure (PE), cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, written exposure therapy (W.E.T.), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), cognitive behavioral therapy enhanced (CBTE), and other well-studied methods.

My role as a counselor is to provide my clients with collaborative, objective and compassionate therapeutic services.  In addition, I provide  powerful and effective strategies to help jump-start and maintain a healthy and successful recovery.
